Honey | LA Clippers Sponsorship
In 2019, Honey became an official sponsor of the LA Clippers. If you watch a game, you’ll see the Honey logo all over the arena and on the players’ jerseys. This sponsorship opened up an opportunity to partner with NBA star Kawhi Leonard, and gave Honey other fun opportunities like custom giveaways for the Clippers’ die-hard fans.
Kawhi-kus
Kawhi Leonard is known to be a man of very few words. In fact, so few words have been spoken that when he does, they are often coined as “Kawhi-isms”.
Fresh into the pandemic with limited production capabilities, we asked Kawhi to record himself speaking haiku-like sayings about saving money with Honey. We then paired this audio with anime-inspired animations and created a series of TV spots we lovingly called “Kawhi-kus”.

LA OUR WAY SERIES
CLIPPERS X LA ARTISTS
To celebrate the city it calls home, Honey collaborated with three LA artists to show how LA inspires their work. The artists used those LA influences to create three custom, limited edition t-shirts for LA Clippers fans. The t-shirts were handed out during the ultimate hometown match-up- Clippers vs. Lakers game.
We created a mini-documentary series about each artist. Parts of the series was played during the game, where the artists were present to hand out their shirts to fans. This series received some fun local press, and increased engagement and followers on our social channels.
